World of Curls!

I decided that I needed to change the name of my blog to World of Curls instead of World of Hails.  Carly is me and Derek's whole world.  We are happy and proud to say that our worlds suddenly changed when Carly came into our family and that now our world revolves around her.  What did I do before her, what did I think about? Anyway, we love you baby Curly Carly!

I was putting laundry away one day so I put Carly in her crib and let her play with her stuffed animals! She had a great time!  Her favorite part was finding the tags on all of them.  As you can see from the picture she was pretty successful!
Carly has a new trick!  It is called falling asleep while sitting up.  Sounds like someone I know... Dad!  ( My dad, not hers) :) Anyway, she has started taking less naps and staying awake for longer periods of time.  This makes her very tired!  She has fallen asleep while eating and while I am holding her straight up, facing out quite a few times!  It is kind of sad but really funny. People always told me that I would never sleep again after having Carly.  I think that was a lie or maybe I just have a good baby but I sleep every night for about eight hours and I sleep GOOD! Elisa, if you read my blog, please try and skip that part ;)
Carly loves the water!  She giggles everytime I sprinkle it on her!

My mom got Carly a Little Einstein's DVD for Christmas.  Carly had a ball watching it... for ten minutes at least :) She was flailing her arms and legs around and squealing.
After 10 minutes she got tired.
Then she got really mad.  In our house tired = mad and it applies to all family members :)

This is not the best picture but I just love the "I just woke up" look that Carly has!

She so cute, Hailee. We miss you guys. And don't worry. I promise I'll try not to hold it against you that your child sleeps. :)
